Recruiting is Underway for Leadership Upper Arlington’s 30th Anniversary Adult Class of 2018-2019

UPPER ARLINGTON, OH, August 14, 2018—Leadership Upper Arlington, established in 1988, is seeking applicants for its 30th anniversary class. Approximately 12-15 individuals are accepted to participate in the eight-month program, which includes a balance of personal and professional leadership training as well as civic engagement.

Leadership UA guides participants through the history of Upper Arlington’s infrastructure including government, education and community services. Throughout the course, which runs October to May, participants network with community and business leaders, as well as more than 500 Leadership UA alumni.

Each class, which meets 5:30-8:30 p.m., twice a month on Thursdays, includes a diverse background of participants committed to the community. Individuals involved serve the community, grow as leaders, gain valuable relationships, and strengthen team building capacity.  Each year Leadership UA brings together exceptional leaders from business, government, non-profit and civic sectors.

“Leadership UA has a strong history of helping participants take on new challenges, both personally and professionally, to help our community grow. Our participants bring a wealth of knowledge from various backgrounds,” said Jennifer Faure, Leadership UA board president. “We are excited for the 30th anniversary class of 2018-2019.”

The program fee is $850. Partial scholarship and payment plans are available.

Applications are accepted through Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018 and available online at leadershipua.org. A $50 application fee is required.
